The short answer: if you send with lemlist, keep lemwarm, because every lemlist plan includes it; if you warm mailboxes for another sender, MailReach costs less from the sixth mailbox and includes 20 spam tests a month, at $19.5 a mailbox against $29 an address on lemwarm's Essential plan, so eight mailboxes cost 8 x $19.5 = $156 a month on MailReach and 8 x $29 = $232 on lemwarm (monthly billing, MailReach pricing and lemwarm pricing, checked on 26 October 2026). Choose lemwarm if your job is warming lemlist senders, or warming with your real templates on its Smart plan. Choose MailReach if your job is warming a mix of mailboxes outside lemlist and testing where your actual emails land.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.

You are not misreading lemwarm's timing either. Its homepage FAQ allows about four weeks of warm-up and two more before real campaigns, 42 days, while lemlist's lemwarm setup guide plans about 40 days of ramp-up at one extra email a day plus 14 days of stabilisation, 54 days. MailReach's pricing FAQ asks for at least 14 days with no campaigns. Plan a new lemwarm mailbox on the longer figure.

One sheet, three lines:

  1. Your mailbox count, priced both ways. For example, three mailboxes cost 3 x $25 = $75 on MailReach and 3 x $29 = $87 on lemwarm Essential; at eight the gap is $76 a month. lemwarm's Smart plan, which warms with your real templates, is $49 an address, per the lemwarm and MailReach pricing pages.
  2. The sender you already pay for. A lemlist plan includes lemwarm, so a lemlist team is comparing MailReach with something already paid for. Instantly warms its own connected mailboxes on every plan too, per its pricing file. The case for a standalone warmer is mailboxes nothing else warms.
  3. The test lemlist's own guide prefers. The lemwarm guide recommends one or two inbox placement tests a month once campaigns run, because they measure your actual email, and treats 10 warm-up emails a day as the fallback signal. Decide now which of the two you will read.

From lemwarm's homepage and the lemwarm setup guide; MailReach's homepage, getting started article, troubleshooting article and pricing page.

Where the two vendors agree

Both say their own score is not the answer. The lemwarm guide states that a score of 80 is not an 80% inbox rate and that the score does not predict campaign placement; MailReach's getting started article says its score is no sign that a mailbox is ready. Both then send you to a placement test of the email you mean to send. The difference is who sells the test: MailReach puts 20 credits a month in the warm-up plan and documents each test against a Gmail and Outlook seed list, with separate scores for professional and personal inboxes (spam test docs), while lemlist lists deliverability testing among its plan features (lemlist pricing) and lemwarm's own plans list reports and alerts rather than tests.

Where they differ

Per the lemwarm guide, lemwarm warms to a target you choose: the volume the mailbox will send once live, reached at one more email a day, and after launch it drops to 10 a day whose only job is to report reputation. The guide also caps total output, campaigns plus warm-up plus replies by hand, under 70 a day per provider. Its warm-up emails carry no links and no images.

MailReach runs on Autopilot for new mailboxes and hides almost every warming email from your inbox, filing them in a To Follow folder. Its troubleshooting article says its network leans to professional inboxes, so it suits B2B senders better than consumer ones.

What the mailbox providers ask sits under both. Yahoo's sender requirements want SPF or DKIM from everyone, DMARC and one-click unsubscribe from bulk senders and a spam rate below 0.3%; neither warmer changes those settings for you.

Monthly billing in USD, per address or mailbox times the count, from the lemwarm and MailReach pricing pages. Billed yearly, lemwarm shows $24 and $40 an address and MailReach takes 20% off, $20 a mailbox for up to five. lemwarm quotes teams of more than ten users; MailReach drops to $18 from 21 mailboxes and $16 from 51.

One agent step: a DNS audit nobody has to remember

lemlist's MCP server gives Claude or ChatGPT a check domain health tool that reads a sending domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and returns what is wrong, without changing anything; the tool that applies DNS changes asks for your confirmation, per the MCP tools reference. Ask the assistant for the audit each Monday. A person reads the findings and makes any change at the domain registrar, since those 40 DNS points are the part of the Warmup Score that moves the moment a record is fixed.

Free checks first

Before any subscription, run lemlist's free deliverability setup checker, listed among its free tools, and MailReach's free spam test from its homepage on the email you plan to send. If authentication fails, no warmer fixes that. If the test lands in spam with clean records, MailReach's troubleshooting article points first to links and tracking.

Notice what the guide keeps switched on. lemlist's lemwarm guide keeps 10 warm-up emails a day running for as long as the mailbox sends, which on the standalone Essential plan is $29 a month per address with no end date, though the same guide calls a placement test the cleaner instrument.

Choose lemwarm if

  • Your mailboxes send through lemlist, where lemwarm is already included.
  • You want warm-up emails written from your real templates, on Smart.
  • One or two mailboxes are all you warm, and the $4 a month difference does not matter.

Choose MailReach if

  • You warm six or more mailboxes outside lemlist, where its rate drops to $19.5.
  • You want placement tests in the same plan, scored for professional and personal inboxes.
  • Your mailboxes sit on mixed providers connected over SMTP.

FAQ

Is lemwarm included in lemlist?

Yes. lemwarm's pricing page says every lemlist plan includes it, and lemlist's pricing FAQ says the same.

Can MailReach test an email sent from lemlist?

Yes. Its spam test takes an email from whatever setup you send with, as long as you send it under the same conditions as the real campaign (spam test docs).

Should a mailbox run both warmers?

Neither vendor's pages read here recommend it. Pick the one whose score you will act on, and pair it with a placement test of the real email.
