Frase vs Jasper: Search Content Loop or Brand Content Hub

The short answer: if one to three people write articles that have to rank in Google and be cited in AI answers, Frase runs that loop from research to publishing, from $49 a month month to month for 10 articles on one site (Frase pricing). If a marketing team produces campaigns, ads, emails and product copy across channels under one brand voice, Jasper fits closer, with Pro at $69 per seat a month on monthly billing (Jasper pricing). Both were checked on 24 October 2026.

Jasper changes the unit of work. In Frase the unit is an article that has to earn search traffic, and every feature points at that: briefs, SEO and GEO scores, a publish button, a guard on pages that slip. In Jasper the unit is any piece of marketing that has to sound like the brand, and the features point at governance: brand voices, audiences, a style guide and more than 100 agents. Search sits inside Jasper. It is the whole of Frase.
Price the team, not the tool:
- Three writers, monthly billing. Jasper Pro includes one seat, so three writers are 3 x $69 = $207 a month (Jasper pricing). Frase Professional is $129 a month for three seats, five sites and 40 articles (Frase pricing). On yearly billing the figures become 3 x $59 = $177 against $103.
- Start from the data you already own. Frase's setup guide has you connect Google Search Console, and without it Frase can research and write but cannot see how your published pages perform (Frase data guide). Jasper's Brand Voice reads your existing content to learn its tone (Jasper pricing). Feed each the material it is built on before judging its output.
- Measure the thing each one claims to change. For Frase that is Search Console clicks in the weeks after publishing; its pricing page says plainly that no tool ranks you inside a trial (Frase pricing). For Jasper it is review rounds per piece: its GEO page claims they fall from 3 to 6 down to 1 (Jasper GEO), so count yours for a month before the trial and again after.

Where they split
One channel or many
Frase is built for the search article and its afterlife. It drafts, scores, publishes and then watches the page: when a guarded page starts losing rank, Content Guard drafts better titles, headings and internal links, and nothing changes until you approve unless auto-apply is on (Content Guard). Jasper is built for the campaign. Its agents cover campaign briefs, ads, blog posts, press releases and translation into 30+ languages, with image tools beside them (Jasper pricing). A team whose growth comes from search will use most of Frase. A team whose growth comes from campaigns will use most of Jasper.
Who an agent can reach
Frase puts its MCP server, CLI and API on every plan, from Starter at 5,000 requests a month to Scale at 50,000 (Frase pricing). Jasper's MCP server exposes brand voices, audiences, style guides, knowledge search, content generation and GEO analyses to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot Studio or n8n (Jasper MCP docs), but its API, and therefore the connection, is for customers on the Business plan (Jasper API getting started). For an agent workflow on a small budget, that line decides it.
Prices, 24 October 2026
Frase, USD, month to month or billed yearly: Starter $49 or $39 a month, one seat, one site, 10 articles; Professional $129 or $103, three seats, five sites, 40 articles; Scale $299 or $239, five seats, ten domains, 100 articles; extra seats $29 a month; Enterprise custom. Starter stops at its limits rather than billing overage (Frase pricing).
Jasper, USD per seat: Pro $69 a month on monthly billing or $59 billed yearly; Business at custom pricing, with API access, custom agents and unlimited brand voices. Credits for the GEO Hub and agents sit alongside seat pricing on Business (Jasper pricing).
The agent step, with the publish button kept
In Frase the job runs from a chat. Connect the Frase MCP from Claude's connector directory, then ask it to research a keyword, build a brief and write a draft for AI visibility. The docs say Claude asks permission the first time it uses each Frase tool and checks with you before publishing or making changes (Frase MCP docs). The person who owns the topic reads the brief's facts before the draft is written and the draft before it ships. On Jasper, an assistant connected through MCP can pull the right brand voice and audience before generating copy, which is the job its server is built for (Jasper MCP docs).
Keep that review. Google's spam policies list using generative AI tools to produce many pages without adding value for users as scaled content abuse (Google Search Central). A draft nobody checked is a page nobody can stand behind.
Jasper's own pricing FAQ names Business, the plan without a public price, as its most popular (Jasper pricing). A popularity label points at the plan the vendor would like to sell. The plan you need is the cheapest one that does not block your job, and for API or MCP work on Jasper that happens to be Business.
Choose Frase if
- Your job is a steady flow of articles that must rank and be cited, written by one to five people.
- You want research, scoring, publishing and decay monitoring in one place, with your CMS at the end of it.
- You want an outside agent to run that work from the entry plan.
Choose Jasper if
- Your job is campaign content across many channels, where brand consistency is the risk.
- Several teams or markets write under one voice and need shared audiences and style rules.
- You can justify Business for API access and custom agents, or Pro's single seats fit the team.
When the tool is not the gap
Sometimes neither tool fixes the problem, because the problem is that nobody owns the content programme: no editorial calendar anyone defends, no one deciding what gets cut, no review before publishing. That is a leadership seat, not a subscription. An interim CMO fills it for a set term and hands it over; that is work I sell.

FAQ
Can Jasper publish straight to WordPress?
Its pricing page names integrations with Webflow, Google Docs and Slack and a Chrome or Edge extension, and WordPress is not among the names given (Jasper pricing). Frase lists WordPress publishing on every plan.
Does Frase's MCP server cost extra?
No. MCP, CLI and API requests are included on every plan: 5,000 a month on Starter, 20,000 on Professional and 50,000 on Scale (Frase pricing).
Which is cheaper for a solo writer?
Frase Starter, at $49 a month month to month or $39 billed yearly, against Jasper Pro at $69 or $59 per seat, on the Frase and Jasper pricing pages, checked on 24 October 2026.
