Upfluence vs Aspire: Customer Matching or Creator Ads

The short answer: if your likeliest future creators are already in your Klaviyo list or your Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce orders, Upfluence is built to find them: Live Capture checks every new buyer or subscriber against its creator database, and can run back over past customers (Live Capture). If the creator content has to work hardest inside your Meta and TikTok ad accounts, or as shoppable storefronts on Shopify, Aspire is built around that, as a Meta-approved partner with storefronts and reward automations (Aspire homepage, Aspire vs Upfluence). Neither lists a price: Upfluence quotes a fixed fee on a 12-month minimum (pricing FAQ), and Aspire's /pricing address returned a 404 on 26 October 2026, with the site's calls to action leading to Book a Demo.
Disclosure: I may earn a commission through some links on this site. It does not change what this page says.
Take the same four questions into both demos:
- What one automatic rule costs. Aspire's automations move affiliates to a new payout tier when they hit a benchmark (Aspire automations). For example, 10% on the first €3,000 of a creator's monthly sales and 15% above it comes to €300 + €300 = €600 on €5,000 of sales, against €500 at a flat 10%. Agree the tiers on paper before any rule pays them.
- Where your customers live. Upfluence's matching connects Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and Klaviyo (Live Capture). Aspire connects Shopify and WooCommerce and takes a CSV upload from other stores (Aspire Shopify page).
- The term, in writing. Upfluence states its 12-month minimum; Aspire publishes no term, so ask for it, and for the notice period, in the first call.
- How a sale is credited. Upfluence counts only orders marked Paid and suggests waiting at least 15 days before paying commission (commissions article). Ask Aspire the same two questions about its click-to-checkout tracking.

The real differences
Your own customers, matched continuously
Upfluence's strongest documented idea is that the creators most likely to work with you already buy from you. Each new customer or newsletter subscriber is checked against its database, and matches land in a list with their purchase count and total spend (Live Capture). Aspire offers the same idea for Shopify buyers (Aspire homepage); Upfluence extends it to Klaviyo and to stores off Shopify.
Creator content as advertising
Aspire's pitch against Upfluence leans on paid social: allowlisting through a direct Meta connection at no extra cost, and preferred-partner status with Meta, TikTok and Pinterest (Aspire vs Upfluence). Its CreatorAds Suite and storefronts point the same way. If your growth comes from ads that run creator content, that is Aspire's ground.
Rules that run without anyone
Aspire's automation builder sends codes and catalogues the moment a creator accepts a brief and pays rewards when revenue milestones are hit (Aspire automations). Upfluence automates the outreach side, with drip sequences and Jaice, and puts payouts behind a validation step where someone authorises each payment request (commissions article). One is built to run the programme by rule; the other keeps a person on the money.
Price: the gap on both pages
Checked on 26 October 2026. Upfluence's pricing page describes three modules quoted as a fixed platform fee, no percentage of sales, no mandatory setup fee, a 12-month minimum and a free trial set up after a first call. Aspire's /pricing address returns a 404, its sitemap lists no pricing page, and the site's calls to action are Book a Demo (Aspire homepage). No Aspire page read on 26 October 2026 states a price, term or platform fee, so this comparison has none to set beside Upfluence's.
One AI step: a plain-language shortlist on Aspire
In Aspire, go to Recruit, then Creator Discovery, and describe the creator you need in a sentence: country, audience, content theme, follower range. The AI turns it into a search across Instagram and TikTok and returns profiles with engagement, audience demographics, typical views and past brand partnerships, and Similar Creators widens one good fit into a list (AI creator discovery). A person then opens each profile and confirms fit before anyone is added to a project or invited. On Upfluence, the same shortlist can come from Claude through its MCP server, once Upfluence grants beta access (MCP article).
Ad labels on creator posts and the GDPR limits on creator data are set out in the creator vetting use case.
Choose Upfluence if your job is
- Recruiting creators from your own customers and email list, on Shopify or another store.
- Paying creators worldwide with identity checks and tax forms handled.
- Committing to a year on a fixed fee that does not rise with sales.
Choose Aspire if your job is
- Turning creator content into Meta, TikTok and Pinterest ads.
- Giving each creator a shoppable storefront on your Shopify catalogue.
- Running tiered commissions and rewards by rule rather than by hand.
Upfluence has an entry on this site; Aspire does not, so its own site is the place to start.
Before any contract
The free work is a spreadsheet. List last year's creators with their orders, the store each order came through, and whether their content ran as an ad. If most sales came from codes and customers, the Upfluence column matters; if the strongest returns came from content you paid to boost, the Aspire column does. Bring the sheet to both calls.
Aspire publishes an Aspire vs Upfluence page and no price list, so the only side-by-side the vendor offers is one where it chose every row, and cost is not one of them (Aspire vs Upfluence). Build your own rows from the sheet.
FAQ
Does Aspire charge creators or brands a marketplace fee?
Aspire's comparison page says its creator marketplace has "no fees, no commissions" (Aspire vs Upfluence). It publishes no platform price, so ask what the subscription itself costs.
Can Upfluence track Amazon sales?
Yes. Its homepage describes Amazon Attribution alongside its CMS and payments for affiliate campaigns that send traffic to Amazon listings (Upfluence homepage).
Can I try either before signing?
Upfluence sets up a free trial after a first call and offers free influencer tools in the meantime (Upfluence pricing FAQ). Aspire's site offers a demo; no free plan or trial is described on the pages read for this comparison (Aspire homepage).
