Questions I would ask first

Question 1

What is your CAC payback period today, and is your CFO asking about it?

Question 2

If product-led growth has stalled, would a sales-assist motion fit the product?

Question 3

Who owns the integration between the CRM, the ABM platform and the sales tools?

Question 4

Is marketing graded on the same number as your board: net revenue retention, or MQLs?

Where I would look first

A starting list for the week-one diagnosis, which audits channels, team, stack and agency relationships. It is typical for the sector, not a record of what I have run.

KPIs I would track
  • ARR growth
  • Net revenue retention
  • Pipeline coverage
  • CAC payback period
  • MQL→SQL→Win rate
  • Logo retention
Tools I expect to find
  • HubSpot
  • Salesforce
  • 6sense
  • Outreach
  • Gong
  • Common Room
  • Mutiny
Channels I would review first
  • Content / SEO
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Paid search
  • ABM
  • Partner marketing
  • Community

What it costs

From €5,000 to €25,000 per month, set by how much of the function I take on and how many days a week that takes. €25,000 is a full mandate with P&L ownership. Monthly cycles, a 30-day exit clause. The ladder is the same in every sector, and the full ladder is in the homepage pricing section.

From my track record

WeTransfer: International Sales Manager for East Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Signed Tata Motors, Under Armour and Apple. Founder of Causality Engine: causal marketing attribution for European DTC brands. Disclosure: it is my own product, so weigh what I say about measurement accordingly. See the interactive CV for the full record.

Frequently asked

Which stage of SaaS company is this for?

B2B SaaS companies after product-market fit, when the marketing function needs structure and the founder is still doing the CMO work. My engagements are built for businesses with €5M to €100M in revenue.

Do you replace ABM platforms like 6sense?

Not as a first move. I start by auditing how much of the platform is actually used before I suggest replacing it.

What happens when the engagement ends?

It is designed to end. The goal of every engagement is to become unnecessary on a schedule: you keep a machine that runs without me, documented.

What do the first 90 days look like for SaaS?

Day 1: the diagnosis starts, as part of the engagement. Day 30: the first board-ready report. Day 60: agentic workflows, campaign structures, reporting dashboards, and Sales and Marketing SLAs. Day 90: scale what works, kill what does not, and transfer the knowledge to your team. Pipeline velocity, CAC payback and LTV to CAC are tracked and reported.

One intake. A straight answer on fit.

Five-minute intake. Monthly cycles, a 30-day exit clause, and a reply within 24 hours. If I am not the right fit, I will say so.
