OptinMonster alternatives
By Joris van Huët · each comparison from the vendors' own pricing and help pages, prices dated on the page
The short answer: 5 tools are compared with OptinMonster on this site, and the line under each one is the verdict from its comparison: who should pick which, with the figures that decide it on the comparison itself. Read the one that names your job. What OptinMonster costs and who it suits is in its entry, and how to use OptinMonster walks through one job with it.

Hello Bar
Consider Hello Bar if you run a blog or a small shop, want a top bar and a leaving-visitor modal live this week, and already pay for an email tool: its help centre shows exit intent as an ordinary display setting in the editor (exit intent article).
Mailchimp
If Mailchimp already sends your email and the popup job is one welcome offer on a time, scroll or exit trigger, open Forms, then Popup forms, in your account before buying anything: the pricing page lists popup forms on Essentials, from $13 a month for 500 contacts, and on Standard and Premium, with a footnote.
OptiMonk
Choose OptinMonster if your job is setting display rules by hand across several sites; choose OptiMonk if your job is getting branded store popups drafted by an agent you brief in a sentence.
Poptin
Consider Poptin if your list is under 500 contacts and nobody has picked an email platform yet: its Emails & Poptins Growth plan runs the popups and sends the follow-up for $19 a month, with 5,000 visitors included (Poptin pricing, checked on 26 October 2026).
Popup Maker
Choose Popup Maker if your job is popups on WordPress sites you control, built around the form plugin you already run. Choose OptinMonster if your job spans sites that are not all on WordPress, or you want forms and email connections built in rather than assembled from plugins.
